Alone and in the dark, having seen no trailers or previews. A friend recommended it to me.
This should end well. >.>
EDIT: Ok, finished. First 70-80 percent was awesome- genuinely creepy and great sound design. Then it just got too dreamy and fantasy for my tastes. Part of it was the Tim Burton/Disney music at the end- just completely ruined the mood. Actually, you know what? I blame the crappy ending almost entirely on the awful, awful music choice. Substitute it with something more fitting and it would've been a much more macabre ending, just by changing the music. Instead you got the typical Del Toro bittersweet dreamland shite. Such potential...wasted on inspirational triangles and harps and such.

I've seen the short film but not the whole movie.
The short film scared the shite out of me

One of the best horror movies I've seen recently. It plays with your mind and has a somewhat sense of "it could happen..." about it.

Honestly I was disappointed. Not enough scary...
I expected more :(

This is honestly the only movie that has ever scared me. You have been warned.

It was pretty wack in my opinion, you should try Sinister! That's first movie that genuinely freaked me out!

I saw Sinister. I watched it with my girlfriend. Had I been alone, it may have been less hilarious, lol.

Just a tad haha see its not the jump scare stuff that really gets me, its that. The whole creepy, murder stuff just doesn't sit right with me.
